Colors & Finishes
Surfaces define the feel of a room. Especially in kitchens and bathrooms, they set specific accents, create atmosphere, and blend materials into a harmonious whole.
It is only through the interplay of design, high-quality materials, and precise technology that faucets are created that combine aesthetics, function, and durability.
The KWC color palette opens up new design possibilities. Finely coordinated surfaces lend character to kitchens and bathrooms and blend harmoniously into modern architectural and design concepts.
Color Palettes
KWC is expanding its color palette to include brushed graphite, brushed gold, and brushed copper. These colors combine the natural elegance of brushed metal surfaces with modern surface technology. The subtle brushed texture adds depth to the colors, highlights the material’s character, and transforms the fixtures into precise design elements in the kitchen and bathroom.
brushed steel
Brushed stainless steel embodies clarity, precision, and timeless modernity. Its subtle, matte finish reflects light with restraint, emphasizing the minimalist design language of modern architecture.
It blends harmoniously with a wide variety of materials—from natural stone and wood to glass—creating a calm, high-quality overall effect. As a classic material in kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel also impresses with its exceptional durability and hygienic properties.
brushed gold
Gold bathroom fixtures can be a bit of a polarizing choice, especially if the gold is too shiny. Brushed finishes, on the other hand, add subtle accents to modern interiors and blend well with many other colored elements.
brushed copper
Copper is characterized by warmth and understated elegance. What may sound like a contradiction is deeply rooted in the material itself and is what gives it its special charm. Its orange-brown color palette appeals to all the senses. Copper creates an environment that is perfect for taking a moment to pause and reflect.
brushed graphite
Graphite is one of the most compelling classics of modern architecture. Subtle shades of gray lend spaces a contemporary flair that never goes out of style. Depending on whether the gray leans more toward white or black—that is, whether it appears lighter or darker—it reinforces an impression of thoughtful restraint. At the same time, graphite harmonizes with a wide variety of materials, such as stone, wood, and glass.
Finishes
KWC offers a precisely tailored range of finishes—from Chromeline to PVD colors to matte black. Depending on the process, distinctive finishes with specific properties are created: electroplated chrome impresses with its classic shine and high durability, PVD surfaces with their exceptionally long-lasting color brilliance and scratch resistance, and powder coatings with their robust, matte appearance. Thus, all finishes combine aesthetic precision with lasting durability—designed to meet the highest standards in kitchens and bathrooms.
PVD coating
The new KWC finishes are created using physical vapor deposition (PVD) a technologically advanced process for finishing metal surfaces. In this process, the coating material is vaporized under vacuum and applied to the surface as an extremely thin, uniform layer. The result is high scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, long-lasting color quality, and a premium feel.
Refined and tested in Unterkulm, this finish meets the highest standards of design and functionality, symbolizing KWC’s uncompromising premium quality.
Electroplating process
In the electroplating process, the surface is finished in multiple layers. Depending on the base material, a layer of copper is applied first, followed by nickel and finally chrome. This precise layering ensures a uniform, durable surface with a classic sheen. The result is a classic, brilliant sheen that perfectly accentuates the design language of KWC faucets.
Powder coating
In the powder coating process, the metal surfaces of our fittings are electrostatically coated with the finest color pigments using a high-precision method. The powder adheres evenly to the entire surface—even in hard-to-reach areas. The coating is then baked at approximately 180 °C, permanently bonding it to the material. The coating is resistant to scratches, impacts, and moisture, ensuring the highest level of durability for everyday use. Our KWC faucets in matte black impress with their clean, architectural aesthetic.
Life happens in the kitchen
In modern life, the kitchen is the heart of our home. It’s where we create, cook, celebrate, chat, and eat. This is precisely where high-quality products are in demand—products that not only look stylish but also perform well in everyday use. Colors and finishes play a crucial role: they add accents, bring materials together, and shape the room’s atmosphere.
The bathroom as a stylish oasis
In the bathroom, the day begins with functionality that inspires and a design that radiates harmony and tranquility. Thus, the bathroom serves as a place for relaxation, retreat, and personal well-being. Whether in brushed gold, copper, or graphite—the exquisite finishes and carefully curated color palettes of the faucets, showerheads, and sinks lend the space character and make a bold statement.
Precision, Design, and Durability
KWC surfaces combine precision craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and innovative coating technologies. The result is durable, resilient, and aesthetically sophisticated surfaces that impress both in everyday use and in design.
